Why a construction clean is its own job
Drywall dust gets everywhere, including inside cabinets that were never opened, on top of door frames and into every HVAC vent. Regular cleaning products smear it. A post-construction clean uses HEPA vacuums first, then damp microfibre, then the floors, in that order, so the dust leaves the house instead of moving around it. Glass gets the paint overspray and sticker residue scraped, tile gets the grout haze dissolved, and new cabinets are wiped inside before anything goes in them.
How we quote it
This is the one service we do not price online, because a powder-room remodel and a 3,000 square foot new build are not the same job. Send a few photos through the quote form, or book a 10-minute call, and you have a written quote the same day. Most remodels take one visit. New builds usually take two: a rough clean after the trades leave and a final clean the day before move-in. We quote both up front and the price does not change unless the scope does.
What we need from you
Debris and leftover material out of the way, water and power on, and a date after the last trade has finished. We bring everything else. Lead, asbestos and other hazardous cleanup is not something we do; if the house is older than 1978 and the remodel disturbed paint, ask your contractor about the abatement first.
Every crew is background-checked, uniformed and insured to $2 million, and the Fernway 24-Hour Guarantee applies to the final clean: anything missed from the agreed scope is fixed free.
