What a move clean covers
A move-in or move-out clean is the deep-clean checklist plus every space that is only reachable when a home is empty: inside every cabinet, drawer and closet, behind and under the fridge and stove, the dishwasher filter, inside the medicine cabinet, window tracks, and the laundry room behind the machines if they have been pulled out. The crew works from the list above and the lead cleaner photographs each room when they finish.
It takes a two-person crew four to five hours in a 3 bed, 2 bath home. Larger homes get a third cleaner so the job still finishes the same day.
Moving out
Book it for after the furniture is out and before the landlord's walkthrough or the buyer's final inspection. The checklist is written to the standard most Raleigh property managers use for deposit returns. If the landlord flags something that was on the list within 24 hours, we come back and fix it free, so you are not arguing over a cleaning fee from the deposit.
Bring nothing. We supply every product and tool, and we take our trash with us. Trash hauling and furniture removal are not included, but we can point you to the people we use.
Moving in
A move-in clean is the same job done before your boxes arrive, so you are not unpacking dishes into cabinets someone else just emptied. Most customers book it for the day after closing or the day before the truck. If the previous owner left the fridge and oven, those are cleaned inside and out as part of the job.
What it costs
Move cleans are priced at 1.9 times the regular rate for your home size, because the inside-everything work roughly doubles the time. A 2 bed, 1 bath apartment runs about $265. A 3 bed, 2 bath home about $340 to $410, a 4 bed, 2.5 bath house about $500. Homes left in heavy soil are re-quoted on arrival, before any work starts.
For rentals we clean between tenants, ask about the turnover rate: the same checklist on a schedule, billed to the property manager.
